Camp Wiregrass
Description
Camper lodging is divided into the girls' village and the boys' village, which consist of 4 cabins and one large bath house for each village. The rustic cabins, each one named after an American Indian tribe, can house up to 16 campers and 4 staff members. The boys' village is headed by the Village Chief, while the girls' village is headed by the Village Queen. Cabin leaders and counselors, assigned to each cabin, are all governed by the village leaders and the Camp Director.
Camp Wiregrass is pleased to have welcomed campers and staff for over 49 years now. As of the end of summer 2018, this facility has had the pleasure of hosting over 32,680 campers, over 12,800 staff members, and has handed out over 29,680 Bible Rosettes. It is our good fortune to have been the beginning point for many life-long friendships, as well as becoming the reunion place for so many adults who are now grown, married, and sending the next generation to summer camp. There is one word for all of this...............BLESSED!!!
